Today went well. He seemed to be more confident and put himself out there more. There were a few times where he did bathroom checks on his own which was awesome, but they were during rushes. After talking with him about when the right time to prep or do bathroom checks he got back on track and did great. He still is a little nervous and doesn't want to mess anything us but after a week of working I am confident he will do fine.

What was something you learned from this train?
When closing with one person I learned it is best to have them focus on one closing duty rather than do a little of each. That way he can get the full closing duty down, then another day we can do other duties and he won't half do anything.
What feedback do you have to improve our training efforts?
At least one different trainer throughout their training week so the trainee can get different perspectives.
